I,K,C Margy’s Blue Warrior, Fair & Squares Milo was born on my yard in 1985 he and his sister where the only surviving pups out of a litter of 6. His Dam Blue Bell was sent over from Ireland in pup to Farmers Boy Blue.
Milo was a real ugly Duckling whilst growing. He started to mature at about 14 months, into a fine looking Stafford. He proved this by winning his Championship status at I,K,C shows and was a great representative of the breed. Growing up with my daughter Milo was great around children and people and wold work along side my Terriers and lurchers and was a Demon on Rats and as Stafford’s are known for their excellent noses, nothing got past him. He would always be in amongst the bushes flushing out all manor of game.
I would like to relate a little story to you all. In the early 90’s we ran a pub and it was November bonfire night which i dreaded as Milo hated fireworks and would wreck his kennels. On the morning i put Milo in the outhouse with the radio on to muffle the sound of the fireworks. At the time we had 2 nuns, Sister Helen and Sister Sue, living across the road and i would let them park their cars behind the pub. The next morning we woke to banging on the door. When I opened it i was surprised to see Sister Sue, as white as a sheet, standing on the step, she went on to say that she had drove to the petrol station 1 mile away to fill up , the drove back on the carriage way to find that had breaks had gone.. When I checked her car I realized Milo had got out of the outhouse and chewed through her break pipes and started eating the front wing of her car which looked like someone had attacked it with a giant tin opener...
Sadly Milo died in 1999 aged 15 years. I had not kept any of his offspring, but years later due to a couple of friends, that we got Milos
granddaughter, which we named Mila. She is a chip of the old block. Her sire is Malhams Paddy ( milos son ) and her Dam is Beanie III. ( milos grandaughter ) Mila is now 2 1/2 years old and we decided to breed her with her brother Malhams Rueben, a dog fabulous conformation, to retain the bloodline. The result was 7 bitchs, 3 blue/white and 4 slate blue/white. We also purchased her sister repeating the mating using Gary Lagens her brother.
This resulted in 9 pups, 7 dogs and 2 bitches, These matings have brought back soon of the traditional dogs in the pedigrees up front, ie: Ricky Bs Ch Psycho, Jonah, Beanie and Jocko..
